About Nicole: Nicole and her partner Deb are longtime residents of Capitol Hill. Nicole Macri, the current Deputy Director of the Downtown Emergency Service Center and the board chair of the Washington Low Income Housing Alliance, is poised to take bold action on issues of low-income housing, homelessness, LGBTQ rights and gender equity. She is one of three members of the LGBTQ community in the race, but her strong record of advocacy on behalf of homeless LGBTQ youth, especially trans* youth of color in the shelter system, demonstrates her willingness to stand up for marginalized communities. As a legislator, Nicole’s primary objective will be to make Seattle a more livable and affordable community for all.
