Babie Babie is the queer psych pop project of Seattle native Michael Lee. Initially begun as a laptop flirtation in the back of a van while touring as the guitarist of northwest outfit the Young Evils, the project marries Lee's adoration for vibrant 80’s synth pop with a Crazy Horse jaggedness and Blade Runner grit. The debut album “Fresh Idiot” will be released later this year.
Fred Fred is the synth pop project of Seattle-based Gabriel Molinaro. In 2018 they began producing new material and testing it out in front of Seattle audiences, eventually crafting a set of danceable songs that Sight & Sound has called “celebratory and mournful, driving and hesitant.” Fred’s first single, “Latest Jesus” is currently out and available wherever you listen to music.
ZKRY To his friends and family, he goes by Zachary Heim, the 29 year old who plays every piano he comes into contact with. To his fans he is ZKRY, electronic music producer whose music has undertones of funk, soul, and hip hop. After moving to Seattle almost a decade ago, he quickly joined many other already active music groups and played all over the greater Seattle area before starting the ZKRY project. After graduation from AI Seattle in 2016, he began playing all over the tristate area.
Although he has yet to release a full length album, his single song releases have amassed over 200,000 streams on all platforms. He has also released a series of music production tutorials and production tools at his website zkrymusic.com.
