Following May’s deep and trippy session from Cosmjn, we next welcome Lizz, a fellow Romanian and frequent b2b partner, who likewise makes his Seattle debut for Makes Me Human at Kremwerk.
Lizz is a master in the studio, including 2 full LPs on one of Romania’s most sought-after labels Playedby. He has also released on Eastenderz (UK), Atipic (Priku’s label based in Romania), and a collaboration with Mihigh on Melodrom. Lizz’s DJ sets meander between jazzy melodies, shimmering vocal samples, and cascading grooves. Given his skills producing the lab, it’s safe to say Lizz has an unlimited catalog of personal productions available for each DJ set. And Lizz’s yearly b2b’s with Cosmjn at Sunwaves on the shore of the Black Sea are always the stuff of legend.
Local support this time brings a fresh new face who has already devoted himself to building the Pacific Northwest (& beyond) music community: Tyler Alexander of Sound Metaphors Bellingham. On direct support will be Rhizome Records co-founder and Makes Me Human resident Kinjo. Hope you are ready to push the envelope of imagination on the dancefloor.
