A chance encounter between two mystic offspring of a dance music religion, the pursuit not of Nirvana, but of its next carnation…Nirvana 2. Trust in this duo’s ability to crank up the intensity to 999 and bust out the freshest unreleased bangers punctuated by little known UKG heaters from before courtney love knew how to tune a guitar. Nirvana 2 is the devoted duo of dj Lexie, label owner and dj based in LA, and Bangy, Seattle native recently returned. Irreverence and reverence alike have a home on this physical plane of suffering ameliorated by nights of divine ecstasy.

Hyeonje

Hyeonje is known for their dynamic, playful, and genre-defying DJ sets, blending classic house, techno, electro, and club sounds with left-field breakbeats, pop, and world music. Having been raised on the local underground scenes of Los Angeles, the Bay Area, Vancouver, Portland, and of course, Seattle, Hyeonje's DJing is rooted in a queer, West Coast sensibility. They have DJ'd at iconic venues in the Pacific Northwest such as Kremwerk, Pony, Monkey Loft, and Holocene, as well as at very special DIY raves and house parties in and outside of the Puget Sound area.

Their ongoing projects include the online mix series Diasporic Corean Mixtapes, which features Korean DJs from the global diaspora, as well as the monthly UKG party GET U OFF, at Timbre Room, where they are a resident DJ.
