FJAAK, the Berlin-based duo of hardware heads, have been constantly making a name for themselves over the last half a decade.
They produce driving, energetic dance tracks which range from reflective power house to storming warehouse techno, with occasional U.K. garage, dub, and breakbeat hardcore influences. Gritty yet sensual, their tracks are composed entirely on analog equipment.
Since they first appeared in the early 2010s, FJAAK have released several club hits, such as 2014's "Don't Leave Me," and have become a major draw as a live act. Their eclectic self-titled debut album appeared on Modeselektor's Monkeytown Records in 2017, and most of their subsequent output appeared on their own imprints, including SPANDAU20 and their eponymous label, which released the duo's ninth self-titled single in 2023.
FJAAK have played over 200 live shows, spreading their elaborate analogue sound all around the globe. From Los Angeles to Beijing, from SXSW back to Berghain, FJAAK were there to deliver what has become their trademark: raw, naturally crafted techno!
