Disco Dust is excited to present Nark, aka Kevin Kauer, founder of Bottom Forty, Nark Magazine, the recent owner of Massive Club in Capitol Hill, who has devoted his life to dance music and club culture.
Purveyor of slithering acid. Community builder. Bottom Forty Label owner. Club veteran. Party politician. Secretive producer. Zealous remixer. Anxiety-ridden intro-extroverted socialite. Totally nice and likes to be pet gently. Requires naps. Inspired by Sega Genesis techno. Prefers brief sentences and elongated sets. A pusher of American Techno, according to Resident Advisor, Decibel Festival, Vice Magazine, The Advocate and others. Well-traveled gig player, can say “biyee” in several languages. Nark will be bringing the heavy disco classics out for this one - get ready to sweat.
Hot N’ Spicy Disco, A Seattle based disco DJ and vinyl enthusiast will be opening with a 2 hour vinyl only set. His sound showcases the deepest and most tasteful disco and boogie edits, disco classics, and disco-house the city has to offer. He currently runs the monthly “Disco Dust” and the weekly "Big Disco Energy" parties bringing out the best disco DJs in the scene to an intimate club setting.
Live on drums all night we have Andy Ammo - you may know him as the red track suit drummer guy. Slappin' the skins along to the polythems of disco - he'll keep the floor movin' and groovin' non-stop!
Disco is rooted in communion for queer and multicultural peoples. At Disco Dust, we believe in the power of music to bring all people together; no matter who you are or where you come from, you are welcome on our dance floor! Let's make tonight a celebration of unity, diversity, and inclusivity.
A stranger in life is a neighbor on the dance floor.
