Rollercoaster of Dubs

  • Kremwerk 1809 Minor Avenue Seattle, WA, 98101 United States (map)

On January 24th, the 🎢🪩Rollercoaster of Dubs🪩🛼 rides again!

For this 2nd edition, there is a 3rd conductor at the control panel. Strap in for a night of thrills and chills with Eve Defy, 'nohup,' and Jennifer Spektor. Warning: Reckless blends ahead❗️

Eve Defy is a Seattle-based musician and deejay who loves nothing more than searing those synapses with molten noise, snappy snares, and warped, alien textures

'nohup' is a DJ, producer, multimedia artist and tool builder based out of Seattle, WA. Their DJing strikes a unique balance between precision and chaos, crafting sets that are meticulously structured yet brimming with surprise. Drawing from the diverse and rich histories of dance music, they tell stories that are as emotionally deep as they are fun. They operate the label `illegal afters tracks` and are a co-founder of Ground Hum music festival. They also build Bandcamp Tempo Adjust and Discogs Tempo Adjust, two tools for DJs to play with the BPM of music on the web.

Jennifer Spektor is a trans DJ, producer, artist, poet, and art therapist whose performances aim to foster communal, rhythmic experiences grounded in love. Hailing from the Chicago area and now based on the stolen land of the Coast Salish people in Seattle, her sets blend the emotional energy of underground dancefloors in Chicago, Detroit, and the UK with the cultural influences of her diasporic Jewish heritage, turntablism, and the oceanic landscape of her current home. She hosts the monthly radio show Echolocation on San Diego's Particle.fm.
