The wait is over, April is here and it is time to celebrate TEN YEARS of psychedelic trance experiences brought to you by Seattle Psy Ops! Huge thanks to the Seattle psytrance community for sticking with us for all these crazy years! This event will be held at TIMBRE ROOM, part of the Kremwerk - Timbre Room - Cherry Complex, is a queer-centric nightclub and live music venue, specializing in progressive electronic music and queer culture. We are very proud and grateful for the opportunity to celebrate our first decade with you in this iconic Capitol Hill venue!!

Before there was Seattle Psy Ops, there was a legendary psytrance series called HOTwired!

Brian Enoch & Osiris Indriya were the scene innovators who hosted this monthly series and joined forces to become FUTURE NURSES, bringing psytrance to numerous Seattle venues including Pacific Science Center!

Joe Evans aka Capt Tripps’ obsession with electronic music began way back when he was just 10 years old. Hearing these innovative sounds led him to become a DJ at an early age, getting behind the decks to spin New Wave and later, Techno and Hard Trance. As a veteran of the rave scene, he was deeply moved by the intricate and complex sounds of Psytrance, as well as the closely knit community surrounding it.

Fast forward to 2025: Capt Tripps has long been a staple of the Seattle Psytrance community, co-founding Seattle Psy Ops along with fellow DJ Jason “Peacedragon” Starling and psychedelic video artist Shado. Joe has been responsible for bringing some of the greatest names in Psytrance to Seattle, many of them for the first time. Along the way, he has shared the stage with top talent including Ace Ventura, Etnica, Dickster, Sonic Species, Khromata, and countless others.

His sets never disappoint, always crafting the perfect mood for each moment to keep you dancing from start to finish! He is also stellar at capturing dance floor action shots, serving as our resident photographer.

PEACEDRAGON (Seattle Psy Ops)

Jason Starling, aka Peacedragon is a veteran DJ and aspiring music producer from Seattle, known for his funky and bouncy style of progressive psytrance. Jason teamed up with Capt Tripps in 2015 on a mission to infuse Seattle with the sounds of psytrance. A graphic designer by trade, Jason is also responsible for the design, branding, and visual presentation of the Psy Ops image.

Jason left his old moniker ‘Technohippy’ behind and Peacedragon was born, signaling the beginning of a shift from DJ to producer!

LADY ISIS (Seattle, WA)

Seattle based DJ/artist Lady ISIS, originally from San Diego, is yet another powerful force in dance music in our local community! She has quickly established a presence in our vibrant local music scene with her dreamy and flowing tapestries of house, sacred bass, techno, and psytrance infused with just the right amount of worldly and ethnic sounds. You can find Lady ISIS behind the decks at local clubs, private underground events, and an array of music festivals and retreats around the Pacific Northwest.
